Testing Footage

This is some of the testing shots I did before I came to filming, I wanted to make sure that a few of the shots worked when it came to filming them.

The first shot I wanted was the girl stood on the pavement and then the male looking through his mirror at her, this was quite a difficult shot as I had to make sure both of them were in view of the camera. The outcome of the shot was quite disappointing as you can't really see the male's face in the mirror, however it could create an air of mystery around the male character before he's introduced to the audience. Also the weather could also be a factor as it isn't the brightest day.

The next shot was quite a simple shot, I just wanted to make sure the angle of my shot worked, which I feel it did.

The shot after was one where the female had to watch the male in his car drive past, this was quite a successful shot, however maybe when I come to filming it properly I will make it more of a longer shot I haven't decided.

The last shot was an experiment of the flashback type shots in black and white. I felt that this shot was successful and would work well considering how the atmosphere would need to be. They couldn't sit on the bench so I placed them stood up on either side of the bench to try and keep the shot symmetrical. I felt this worked better than having them sat on the bench as it almost keeps the shot balanced and looks better.
